star dorm exceeded my expectations! after my last stay in haad rin, i was pleasantly surprised by the warm, helpful staff and comfortable dorm beds. the owner, van, went above and beyond, giving me rides and lending me equipment. great location too!

The location of this hostel is perfect for the Full Moon Party, with Haad Rin Beach just a short walk away. Despite being close to all the action, the hostel manages to maintain a quiet atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep. The owner, Van, is incredibly helpful and shares his valuable knowledge and tips for enjoying the party. The dormitories are clean and comfortable, with lockers available for security. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming environment.

One minor inconvenience was that some guests in our dormitory kept adjusting the air conditioning to a temperature that was too cold, which was a bit irritating. However, this was not the fault of the staff and did not significantly affect our overall experience.

I had the most incredible time at this hostel! The American owner, Mr. Van, was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic stay. He gave me the best advice on what to do and where to go, even taking me to Sea Breeze Resort for a breathtaking view. He even let me borrow a swimming suit and snorkel! The 12 bed dorm was surprisingly comfortable, and I got to choose a lower bed away from the AC. The location was perfect - close to the Full Moon Party, but in a quieter area. The wifi was superb, and there were convenient amenities nearby like Family Mart and 7-11. The owner, Van, truly deserves the title of the best owner ever! He took care of us, shared valuable information, and even cleaned our room. I can't wait to come back to this incredible hostel again and again! 5 stars!
